Duke of Edinburgh’s Award

  Duke of Ed

Through our BB and GB companies, we run The Duke Of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme at Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels. With guidance from an experienced team, young people will be fully trained and equipped in the skills required to complete all areas of the Award – Volunteering, Physical, Skills and Expedition, with an additional Residential section for Gold. There are many opportunities within the wider congregation to achieve each section.

The Expedition section of the Award usually runs from April to September, with training and Bronze and Silver qualifying expeditions in the Mournes, and the Gold qualifying expedition in the Wicklow mountains.

Participants must be registered as members of either the Boy’s Brigade or Girl’s Brigade.

If you would like to get involved in the award please get in touch with Jon Henry, or any of our Award leadership team.
