Boys’ Brigade

The Boys’ Brigade welcome boys from primary one onwards to join the company and have an opportunity to enjoy a varied programme of activities which are suitable for their age and learning development.

Within each section they are taught about God and are encouraged to develop socially and emotionally towards mature adulthood. 

Anchor Boys’

Anchor Boys’ meet on a Tuesday night from 6.15pm – 7.15pm.  this is for boys’ in P1 – P4.

They enjoy a varied programme of games, cookery, crafts, Bible stories, drama, trips and outings.

Junior Section

Junior Section meet on a Tuesday night from 6.15pm to 7.30pm.  this includes boys in P5,P6 and P7.

They continue to enjoy these activities with an opportunity to participate in various competitions such as Northern Ireland District Swimming Gala, Musician of the Year and Football Tournaments.

Company Section

Company Section and Seniors meet on a Tuesday night from 7.45pm – 9.30pm.  Company Section boys are in school years 8+.

On a weekly basis they complete badge work, games, box work, drill and Bible study.  They also have several speakers who present topical issues.  Competitions, fundraising and charity events are also included in the session.

The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme continues to be very popular with boys aged 14 upwards.  Boys have an opportunity to complete Bronze, Silver and Gold through the Company.

Morning Worship – Every Sunday at 10.30am

The Link – Second Sunday of each month at 7pm

Upcoming Events

Youth and Children’s Service takes place on Sunday 22nd December at 10.30am and will be led by the members of our Sunday School and Genesis.

Carols by Candlelight. The traditional service of Lessons and Carols will be on Sunday 22nd December at 7pm, followed by the Candlelit Supper in the Orr Hall.

The Christmas Eve Service at 11.30pm with tea and mince pies in the Welcome Area from 11pm. We look forward to welcoming our friends from the Parish Church.

The Christmas Day Family Service will be at 10.30am.
