Young Adult's Group (or Y.A.G.) is a social group for any young person aged over 15 years old.  It is run by Lisa Scott along with help from a superb and energetic team of leaders (Pamela Gourley, Jenny Hicks, Jenny Bell, Kathryn McCrossan and Chris Scott.)

Meetings are generally held between 8 and 10 p.m. on Sunday evenings in the John Stewart Lounge.

The programme is varied to suit all ages and tastes!  It combines 'nights in’ at the church as well as trips out to Newcastle, The Pirates Adventure Golf Course in Dundonald and bowling at the Odyssey, to name just a few! There are also opportunities to play sports and team games, as well as to cook, make crafts and listen to speakers.

Most ‘nights in’ at the church begin with a cup of tea or coffee and time to chat and they end with a short devotion or epilogue (usually a story with a couple of verses from the Bible and a prayer.)  We hold a bible study once a month on a Sunday night, and we also have a small bible house group that meets on the last Thursday of each month.

Each year, around Easter time, we have a weekend away to help all members get to know each other better.  We take part in a variety of outdoor activities and have a Bible study on Friday and Saturday nights.

We have a new member’s night each September, but new members are always welcome to drop in at any time during the year and join in the fun and fellowship!
