IGNITE meet this evening at 6pm in the Youth Room

PW Ladies going to Hillhall on Monday 20th February 2012, please note cars will leave Church car park at 7.30pm.

The PW meet on Tuesday 21st February at 7.30pm in the John Stewart Lounge. The guest speaker, Valerie Henderson, will talk about “Life as Secretary to Belfast Lord Mayors”.

Nifty Needles meet on Thursday 23rd February 6.30–8pm.

Articles for inclusion in the next issue of Pew News should be with Dawn by Sunday 26th February. ‘Weddings through the decades’ – Wednesday 29th February at 7.30pm in the Village Centre.  Tickets still available.

Recipe Book   the closing date for recipes has been extended.  Thanks to those who have already submitted their favourite recipes but we have plenty of space for more.  We would also appreciate offers of help with typing and graphic design so if you are able to assist us in any way please contact Joan Myles  Tel  9268 2924  or any member of PW.

A Public Meeting of Lisburn District Policing Partnership will take place on Tuesday 21st February at 7pm in the Chestnut Suite, Lagan Valley Island, Lisburn.

The NI Cancer Fund for Children—Winter Woolie Walk 2012 takes place on Saturday 25th February at 10.30am in Hillsborough Forest Park. Registration is £5 for adults and children under 14 free. The Giant Bungee Jump! takes place on Saturday 3rd March in Custom House Square Belfast. Registration £20 minimum sponsorship £140. Further details on www.nicfc.com.

The Lisburn District Policing Partnership has been formally notified by the PSNI that the police stations in Dunmurry and Hillsborough are at serious risk of closure. A petition in support for the retention of the stations is on the vestibule table.

A Marriage Preparation Course organised by Christian Guidelines Ltd, takes place in Maze Presbyterian Church on 8th, 15th and 22nd March 7.30–9.30pm. The cost per couple is £60. To register or for more information phone 9146 8846 or email admin@guidelines.org.uk. Leaflets on the vestibule table.
